The National Business Review sat down with RipeTime CEO Jon Lowy, VP Operations Piers Gascoine, and Chief Financial Officer Adam Hunt to discuss the next steps for start-up company RipeTime.
The article touches on not only the potential help the patented technology has on reducing the enormous food wastage issue across the globe, but also the discussions they are currently having with potential investors and on-going trials.
Although still only in the research and development phase, RipeTime’s intellectual property has been independently valued at $107 million, yet is seeking up to $7 million for up to 12% of the company to continue commercialisation of its products and exploit market opportunity.
The article features in the September 2nd issue. To read the whole NBR article please visit http://www.nbr.co.nz/search/site/ripetime.
